I'm a journalism grad turned front end developer turned user experience designer. I am a UX and product design leader with over 10 years of experience in e-commerce. I focus on creating digital experiences that meet both user needs and business goals. I enjoy leading cross-functional teams, scaling design systems, and building strong partnerships across product, engineering, and leadership.

Research
As a former journalism student, I love exploring problems. Whether it is competitive analysis or interviewing, I want to make sure I’m experiencing everything as a user would.
Design Systems
A design system should be clear, simple, purposeful, and accessible - regardless of the medium. These are extremely tricky to nail down with so many emerging mediums and even harder to consistently use. I enjoy the challenge of negotiating styles and building processes to help speed designers and developers.
Strategy
It is easy to say you have a strategy, but unifying a team around the problem and a clear definition of success is not always easy. My strength is leading a team by unpacking problems to create alignment.
